Good afternoon Residents,
Our annual meeting has been scheduled for April 1st, 2023. The board of directors is looking for volunteers to join the board and assist with community management, events, and projects. The current board consist of homeowners that have lived in the community for a long time and they are hoping to add other residents with the eagerness to lead, see the community grow, and to be a part of the growth. Some members of the current board have offered to stay on for a limited time to assist in the transition, provide guidance, and be a source of information for past community events. This will promote a smooth transition for some of the current board members who are seeking retirement.
One of the best ways to give back to your neighborhood is serve on your association board, which allows the opportunity to make good decisions that will have a positive impact on everyone. Serving on the HOA board allows to socialize and network with other people. In addition to your neighbors, you will get to meet people in the form of vendors and HOA managers, giving you a chance to foster healthy relationships with your community partners. All in all, your position on the HOA board would give you direct access to your community’s future.
The board of directors consist of 5 members and there are several of the members that are reaching the end of their 3 year term and they will be retiring or serving in a lesser capacity. (ie; social committee, covenants committee, landscape committee, maintenance committee etc.). The Estates at Aloma Woods covenants requires no less than 3 board members be active or the state will appoint a Receiver to manage community affairs. Please understand that this means residents will not have a say in how the community is managed or any community related decisions.
